Fans stunned as hard-to-please Roy Keane lavishes praise on ‘brilliant’ Man Utd star who is ‘dream’ team-mate
ROY KEANE has lavished praise on Bruno Fernandes as he branded the United star a "dream teammate."
The midfielder ran the show at the City Ground yesterday as Manchester United beat Nottingham Forest 2-0.
It was a huge victory for the Red Devils who successfully capitalised on the defeats of top four rivals Newcastle and Tottenham.
And hard-to-please pundit Keane reserved particular praise for Fernandes, 28, after his fantastic showing.
The former United midfielder said: "Brilliant. I really think he's a brilliant player.
"He'll be a bit disappointed he didn't score but the quality of his balls into the box... if you're a striker, it's a dream. You'll make some runs and he'll pick you out.

"He's got a good relationship with [Christian] Eriksen and the players around him. I think he's pure quality."
The Sky Sports analyst was also impressed with Fernandes role in the opening goal.
The Portuguese international hit a deft first-time pass into the path of Anthony Martial whose initial effort was saved before Antony's scored on the rebound.
Keane added: "That pass... not many players could have played that pass. Great day for him, very comfortable."

Fans were stunned by Keane's words with the pundit usually reluctant to commend players.
One said: "Roy Keane doesn’t say good morning to his kids without them having to earn it. When he praises, you are good.
Another added: "You're on a different level when you get a compliment like from Roy Keane himself."
While a third said: "Praise from Keane? That rarely happens."
Fernandes has seen his role tweaked in recent weeks as Erik ten Hag tinkered with his midfield.
He has dropped deeper while the likes of Scott McTominay and Marcel Sabitzer have pushed on beyond him.
It has seen Fernandes enjoy a strong run of form to bounce back from United's 7-0 defeat at Anfield last month where he faced stinging criticism.
