THE highly anticipated World Snooker Championship is UNDERWAY but Ronnie O’Sullivan has failed to successfully defend his title.

Snooker legend Ronnie O’Sullivan got dumped out of the tournament by Luca Brecel in a shocking turnaround.

O’Sullivan, 47, ended the first session with a 10-6 lead and was almost guaranteed to book his spot in the semi-final.

However, Brecel won SEVEN consecutive frames to pull off one of the most historic wins in snooker history.
