FORMER England football boss Sam Allardyce was yesterday told cops are not investigating him over the bungs scandal that led to him quitting.
Big Sam, 62, was caught in a Daily Telegraph sting negotiating a £400,000 deal with “Far East investors”.
He was filmed advising them how to get round FA player transfer rules.
Allardyce denied doing wrong but quit over September’s scandal after 67 days in charge. He still faces an FA probe.
Former QPR boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, 44, was implicated too, but also faces no action.
City of London Police said one allegation of bribery will be probed but gave no more details.
