Fulham 0 Arsenal 3 LIVE RESULT: Gunners go FIVE points clear of Man City with dominant win over Cottagers – updates

ARSENAL have gone five points clear at the top of the Premier League with a 3-0 win over Fulham.

Gabriel got the scoring underway with a header from a Trossard corner.

Then fellow Brazilian Gabriel Martinelli also popped up with a header to make it two before Odegaard bagged a third.

  • Silva's Fulham ready

    Fulham boss Marco Silva insists his team is ready for a tough test against Arsenal.

    Silva told Sky Sports: "We don't change many things. They can make you go a little bit more low on the pitch than we'd like. But we are ready to do it.

    "And when we have the ball we have to express ourselves on the pitch.

    "We have to mix up our game to explore the gaps."

  • Jesus lifts Arsenal

    Arsenal have been missing Gabriel Jesus after the 2022 World Cup, which saw him injuring his knee.

    The Gunners won 14 games, drew once and only lost once with Jesus on the team.

    But without the striker, the North Londoners won 12, drew three and lost five.

    The Brazil international has helped Arsenal score an average of 2.2 goals per game, but without him Mikel Arteta's side only managed 1.9.

    To be more specific, the visitors won 88 per cent of their games with Jesus and only 60 per cent without him

    Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta addressed Gabriel Jesus's return to his squad.

    Arteta told Sky Sports: ";Huge [to have him back].

    "His presence, what he transmits to the teams, the experience he has in these types of games, he's a huge player for us.

    "He's changed our dynamic, he's changed our belief he's put the team in a different status and it's great to have him back."
