GOLF legend Rory McIlroy was once engaged to be married to tennis pro Caroline Wozniacki, but the sporting couple's romance ended before they made it down the aisle.
The Northern Irishman has since gone on to marry American Erica Stoll, while Wozniacki has started her own family - and announced a surprise return to tennis.
She is a professional tennis player and has won 30 singles titles, including a Gram Slam title.
She was also ranked world No 1 in singles for 71 weeks.
After a third-round loss in the 2020 Australian Open she retired from tennis.

Why did Rory McIlroy and Caroline Wozniacki break up?
Caroline and Rory got engaged in 2013 but the pair split up in 2014 when, just days into their wedding preparations, McIlroy decided to put an end to the relationship.
McIlroy, 25 at the time, decided to pull the plug after sending out the couple's wedding invitations, as he felt he wasn't ready for married life.
He is said to have ended things with Wozniacki, who was then 23, over a short phone call.
In a statement released to the public, McIlroy said: "The wedding invitations made me realise that I wasn't ready for all that marriage entails.
"I wish Caroline all the happiness she deserves and thank her for the great times we've had.”
