Shakira FINALLY reveals release date for song ‘TQG’ with Karol G as track expected to be another blistering Pique attack
COLOMBIAN beauties Shakira and Karol G have announced the date of their new song, "TQG" with a sensual photo.
The pair published identical messages on their Instagram accounts telling fans: “We know you are waiting for it and here we are."
The joint post revealed the song will come out on February 24 at midnight.
This confirms speculation that the women are both expected to diss their exes following Shakira’s revenge song last month against former partner Gerard Pique.
In the brutal new song, Shakira takes more swipes at Pique's new girlfriend Clara Chia, as the new song’s lyrics leaked overnight.
Shakira sings in Spanish: “You leaving to look for something to eat outdoors and me thinking it was the monotony.”
Karol G sings of her ex Puerto Rican rapper Anuel AA: “At least with me I kept you looking nice.”
The singers have made it clear "TQG" stands for "Te quedó Grande", which translates to "You were out of your depth."
Karol G’s collaboration with Shakira is part of an album she is due to release on Friday.
The 31-year-old who competed on the Colombian version of "The X Factor" as a teenager said the new release with Shakira would "let a lot of anger go”.

Shakira has used her music to fire a series of poisoned darts at retired footballer Pique and his new girlfriend over the last few months.
Most recently the 46-year-old shared a clip of her singing along to SZA’s hit song Kill Bill on Valentine’s Day as she lip-synced the lyrics "I might kill my ex."
In the footage shared on TikTok, Shakira sings: "I might kill my ex, not the best idea.
"His new girlfriend's next, how'd I get here?”
The brutal lip sync comes on the back of her song with Argentine DJ Bizarrap comparing herself to a Rolex and Pique’s new 23-year-old girlfriend Clara Chia to a Casio.
Shakira, also making it crystal clear she was referring to the new lover, also bragged: “I’m worth two 22s.
“You traded a Ferrari for a Twingo."
The song was viewed more than 63 million times in its first 24 hours on YouTube, setting a new streaming record.
On Spotify, it became the most-streamed Latin track in a single day.
Shakira had already appeared to attack her ex in a song she released last October called Monotonia, with references to the “narcissism” and “cold as Christmas” attitude of a man she is breaking up with.
The Colombian also wrote a New Year's post on Instagram about betrayal and heartache, winning support from her ex's former teammate Lionel Messi’s wife Antonela Roccuzzo who responded with three heart emoticons.
Earlier this month Pique, 36, referred to Barcelona-born Clara Chia for the first time in public and admitted she wears the trousers in their relationship.
The former Barcelona defender confessed he was putty in her hands as he showed off his clothes during an on-air chat with Spanish streamer Ibai Llanos ahead of his new football competition the King’s League.
Pique replied: “The truth is I go with my girlfriend to the shops and she buys them for me. I’m a puppet.”
The artist and her ex announced they had split last May following unconfirmed claims Pique was cheating on his long-term partner with a younger woman.
Pique and Shakira were together for 11 years and had two children together: Milan, 10, and Sasha, eight.
The Colombian artist is due to move to Miami with her two sons this year.
