KSI and Logan Paul have "shelled out millions" for a Prime ad during the first quarter of the Super Bowl on Sunday evening.

Fans of the two YouTubers have flooded shops stocking the energy drink, which the pair launched last year.

Now the duo have paid for a Prime commercial to be featured during one of the Super Bowl's many ad breaks.

Companies typically pay millions for thirty-second slots during the breaks, and it is understood that KSI and Logan Paul forked out a similar amount to promote their "hydration drink";.

The Prime ad begins by showing a fan pouring a Purple Grape-flavoured bottle over his face, drenching his hair and clothes.

It goes onto to show Logan Paul drinking the Blue Raspberry flavour before spitting it out, followed by footage of fans spraying the drink over each other in a Walmart car park.

The ad also depicts a baboon attempting to open a Tropical Punch bottle.

Prime recently became an official sponsor of the UFC, even though lightweight Paddy Pimblett slammed its sugar content while promoting his own sports drink.

KSI and Logan Paul respectively called Pimblett "cringe" and threatened to sue him, before Prime became the MMA promotion's Official Sports Drink.

The Super Bowl reminds American viewers of Prime's partnership with Arsenal, who KSI has supported since he started out posting FIFA clips on YouTube.

He recently appeared in Amazon Prime's behind-the-scenes documentary about the club, All Or Nothing, to discuss the club's comeback under Mikel Arteta.

Fights broke out in supermarkets when Prime first launched, as fans jostled to get their hands on the drink.

KSI slammed third-party profiteers charging thousands of pounds for the drink, which retails for £1.99.

The Sun revealed that nutrition experts say the drink might actually make people less hydrated, and should not be recommended to children.
