Sergio Ramos hails PSG team-mate Lionel Messi as ‘best player EVER’ in snub to ex-Real Madrid pal Cristiano Ronaldo
VERY few players can say they have been able to train day-to-day and play alongside football greats Lionel Messi AND Cristiano Ronaldo.
Sergio Ramos is one of the lucky few who got to see the two footballing Gods up close at work.
The legendary Spaniard, 36, spent nine years playing with Ronaldo at Real Madrid.
Ramos and Ronaldo won everything that club football had to offer.
On a personal level, Ronaldo scooped up numerous individual accolades, including five Ballon d'Ors, while Ramos is hailed as one of the best defenders of his generation.
However, in the later stages of his career, Ramos has been able to link up with Messi at Paris Saint-Germain - a player the defender says caused a near-decade of suffering while the Argentine was playing for Barcelona.
