A MANCHESTER CITY bigwig has claimed Yaya Toure’s agent should be in JAIL.

City outcast Toure began the day by apologising to Pep Guardiola for agent Dimitri Seluk’s scathing attacks on the Etihad boss.

But the saga turned even more ugly as the club’s first team operations manager David Quintana branded Seluk a “nasty liar” who “should not be allowed to be outside a prison cell,” on his Twitter account.

Ironically, Quintana helps with player liaison and is described as a personal aide to Guardiola.

His Twitter page pictured him posing with City star David Silva before it was closed down last night after SunSport had prompted an internal club investigation.

Quintana, who spelt ‘liar’ wrong in his tweet, wrote: “Yaya’s agent is a liar, a nasty piece that should not be allowed to be outside a prison cell. Feel sorry for Yaya.”

Guardiola was furious over Seluk’s rants and Toure, 33, has been frozen out for nine weeks — last playing on August 24.

But the Ivorian tried to make peace by saying: “I wish to apologise, on behalf of myself and those who represent me.

“Those statements do not represent my views on the club or the people who work there.”

Guardiola said: “I have spoken with Yaya.

“It’s good news for City — that’s the most important thing — and for Yaya, whom I appreciate.”

Ukrainian Seluk, who had accused Guardiola of treating players “like dogs,” told talkSPORT: “I’m not apologising. We want peace, but I’m not apologising.”
