David Beckham’s incredible ‘lucky’ Ferrari 360 Spider driven during his Man Utd heyday goes on sale for £110,000
A SUPERCAR once owned by footballing legend David Beckham is up for sale for £110,000.
The former England and Manchester United star was pictured at the wheel of the nero black 2001 Ferrari 360 Spider F1 numerous times in the early 2000s.
He was often seen driving to and from United's Carrington training ground with a private number plate referencing his famous number seven shirt.
Auctioneers estimate its value between £85,000 and £110,000 - almost double the normal asking price.
Becks owned the 3.6 litre V8 at the turn of the century, just prior to his move to Real Madrid.
Capable of the 0-60 mph dash in just 4.2 seconds, it was mainly spotted chauffeuring the star midfielder to and from Old Trafford.
MORE ON BECKHAM
Described as a "particularly special vehicle", the Ferrari has just 7,800 miles on the clock and features a number of desirable extras including forged lightweight BBS alloys, wide carbon fibre backed racing seats, privacy glass and a F1 Gearbox.
The car’s interior boasts Nero-colored Sabbia leather seats.
It's estimated Beckham could have spent around £3 million on cars since hitting the big time , but that hasn't stopped run-ins with the law along the way.
Becks has been involved in three nasty crashes, been caught using his phone behind the wheel - resulting in a six-month ban and a hefty fine - and more recently he was spotted driving without a seatbelt and parking on double yellows.

It seems despite boasting more than 30 cars and motorbikes in his garage over the years, practice doesn't always make perfect.
For instance the former England footballer was caught parking on a double yellow line - twice in a matter of days.
While isolating at his Cotswolds property with wife Victoria Beckham and three of their children, he was pictured abandoning his black Land Rover Defender across the lines as he headed into upmarket deli Mr Bumbles in Burford, Oxon, Oxfordshire.
