Wolves vs Liverpool preview

After a 2-2 draw at Anfield, Wolves and Liverpool now battle it out for a spot in the fourth round in a replay at Molineux.

The winners know a tie away at Brighton awaits for the victor on the night.

Wolves ended a four-game winless run with a 1-0 win over West Ham at the weekend.

That win saw them leapfrog the Hammers and now sit a couple of points clear of the drop zone.

While Jurgen Klopp bemoaned Liverpool's lengthy injury list after they were thumped 3-0 at Brighton.

This competition probably presents the Reds' best chance at silverware so will be desperate to progress.

Liverpool

As mentioned, Jurgen Klopp has a lengthy injury list to contend with.

Virgil van Dijk, Arthur, Roberto Firmino, Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz are all definitely out the clash.

While Darwin Nunez missed the defeat on the south coast but could make a return for this one.

With the injury list at the top end of the pitch, Klopp may opt to leave his only central striker out of this one.

SunSport tips

Mohamed Salah to score 1st - was 4/1 NOW 6/1 with William Hill -

Despite their issues, it still remains foolish to discount Mo Salah.

He scored in the original tie at Anfield and was his only goal in the past four games.

But he scored in the three games prior to that and remains a threat.

On penalties too, that's always something to consider when backing a goalscorer.

His price has been boosted by William Hill too.

Wolves vs Liverpool - What the managers have said

We'll need to see if Darwin Nunez will be fit for tomorrow, with Klopp advising his striker was 'close' to being fit.

He also advised changes would have to be made.

He said: "We go as strong as we can, but it always depends on the situation you are in and that means when was the last game and stuff like this.

"Not all players who played in the last game are available now, for different reasons. Yes, we will make changes, that's clear.

"The easy thing is for me to sit here and tell the boys, 'Pretty much with the game at Brighton you put us in this situation, so let's have a look how you can get us out of that again.' But that would mean I'm out of responsibility and I cannot; I just can't."
