Crystal Palace ready to rival Everton for Danny Ings as Patrick Vieira eyes bargain transfer for Aston Villa striker
CRYSTAL PALACE are ready to fight Everton for Danny Ings’ signature.
The Eagles are on alert as the striker has been left out of Aston Villa’s starting XI by boss Unai Emery for all three games since the World Cup.
Palace chief Patrick Vieira would take 30-year-old Ings on loan or even try to land him for a bargain price if Villa give him any encouragement.
And Ings could be interested if he is going to start in the side and play with some of Palace’s exciting youngsters.
Everton tried and failed with a loan move for him but now could also try for a permanent deal.
Ings has done well for the Villans this season despite a limited role, having scored six goals in 17 appearances.

He has only played a full 90 minutes for the Villa Park side on three occasions in the Premier League this season.
Meanwhile, Palace will decide where 19-year-old winger Malcolm Ebiowei goes on loan shortly.
Hull are set to see off QPR and are prepared to pay his wages in full.
Liam Rosenior has been after Ebiowei since he took over at the Tigers and the club have backed their boss by matching Rangers’ offer.
