Chelsea transfer target Leandro Trossard ‘set to quit Brighton on free transfer in summer after rejecting new contract’
LEANDRO TROSSARD is ready to quit Brighton in the summer after rejecting a new contract at the Amex Stadium, according to reports.
The winger has entered the final six months of his deal and could leave on a free transfer at the end of the season.
Brighton do have an option to extend his terms until 2024.
But Belgium outlet claim that Trossard has continuously rejected the opportunity to sign fresh terms.
And the report states the 28-year-old believes he's now ready to sign for a bigger club.
As a result, this could be Trossard's fourth and final season on the South Coast.

Chelsea are reportedly interested in the star with the possibility of reuniting with Graham Potter surely a tempting one.
Trossard was one of Potter's first signings as Brighton boss and is keen on bringing him to Stamford Bridge.
The ex-Gent forward has proven himself in the Prem with 25 goals and 14 assists in 116 games for the Seagulls.
He's particularly impressed this season, notching seven goals in 16 outings and scored in the 4-1 rout over Potter's Chelsea.

Trossard is therefore already on course to beat his previous top-flight tally of eight in a season.
Chelsea have already been busy in the January window after they secured the services of Monaco man Benoit Badiashile.
The centre-back arrives for a £35m fee and has signed a seven-and-a-half year deal at Stamford Bridge.
