Captain's big night
Tonight's Premier League clash against Manchester United will be very special for Bournemouth captain Lloyd Kelly.
Kelly is set to make his 100th appearance with the Cherries at the age of 24.
The centre-back moved to Dean Court in 2019 from Bristol City.
In all of his 99 appearances, the ex-England Under-21 international has also amassed two goals and eight assists
Erik’s perfect Ten
As mentioned earlier, Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag appears to finally be able to lay down the law after all the drama surrounding Cristiano Ronaldo finally came to an end.
Ten Hag has won all three matches, without conceding a goal, across all competitions ever since Ronaldo’s dramatic dismissal after a bombshell interview in which he slammed United from top to bottom.
The Dutch tactician even marked a very special record after the Red Devils beat Wolves 1-0 on New Year’s Eve, which made it 10 wins in the English top flight.
The only United manager to reach that milestone in fewer matches than the 16 it has taken Ten Hag was Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who did it in 12 appearances
Making his Marc
Marcus Rashford is Manchester United’s top goalscorer so far in the Premier League this season, and joint 14th overall.
Rashford has registered six goals and three assists in 16 matches, which means he contributes more than one goal every two games.
The forward seems to be serious about manager Erik ten Hag’s challenge of netting 20 goals in the English top flight by May.
And the England international has scored in three consecutive appearances across all competitions for the first time since 2019
