Two teams in the running to sign unemployed Cristiano Ronaldo after Man Utd axe including £173million offer

TWO TEAMS are reportedly in the running to sign free agent Cristiano Ronaldo and have put offers on the table.

The 37-year-old legend is plotting his next move after being released by Manchester United following a bombshell interview with Sun columnist Piers Morgan.

The forward claimed he felt United had “betrayed” him and revealed he had “no respect” for Erik ten Hag.

Things did not improve for him during the World Cup as he was also shunned by national team boss Fernando Santos.

They also claim that he is “expected to join them” - although Sun Sport understands he has not accepted a contract from them yet.
