Graham Potter tips ‘dangerous’ Omari Hutchinson to break into Chelsea first team as he piles praise on ex-Arsenal ace
CHELSEA boss Graham Potter has heaped praise on one of his youngsters following an impressive display in their friendly against Aston Villa.
The Blues lost 1-0 to the fellow Premier League side in Abu Dhabi on Sunday in their first game since the World Cup break.
Potter fielded a youthful-looking team which included the likes of Omari Hutchinson, 18, Bashir Humphreys, 19, and Charlie Webster, 18.
And the Chelsea manager took the time to highlight Hutchinson's display after the slender defeat.
He said: "[Hutchinson] was really good, dangerous and asked a question all the time.
"Throughout the game, he showed his quality but he wasn’t the only one.

"It was a spirited performance with a lot of young players so it was good."
Chelsea re-signed teenage forward Hutchinson from Arsenal last season.
Back in October 2021 while with the Gunners, he produced a stunning backheel assist in a 1-1 draw against Bournemouth's U23s side.

But he never got his chance in the first team at the Emirates and subsequently decided to leave for Stamford Bridge.

Now he is in line to earn some game time during the second half of the season, particularly with some tired bodies returning from Qatar.
Meanwhile, Chelsea suffered a major injury blow during the loss to Villa as Armando Broja went off in extreme pain following a nasty fall on his knee.
