Man City charged LATEST: Club could face RELEGATION or expulsion while suffering Bellingham BLOW

PREMIER LEAGUE champions Manchester City could be EXPELLED from top-flight English football after their breach of 115 financial rules allegations.

Other possible punishments include a points deduction for the reigning champions, transfer bans, spending limits and even the stripping of previous titles.

The investigation into the club's dealings has lasted for four years.

And now the Premier League have published their findings on their website - and it does not make good reading for the Etihad club, although at this stage they have been charged but not found guilty.

Furthermore, reports suggest that the charges could be detrimental to their hopes of signing Jude Bellingham this summer.

    The Arsenal centre-forward returned from the World Cup with Brazil following a knee injury and quickly went under the knife.

    Asked whether it would alter his January planning, Arteta said: “What we can do after that when we know the timescale better and we know when we can have him back we will look at the options and try to make the right decisions.

    PSV Eindhoven star Cody Gakpo has said he would consider joining Manchester United in January.

    That is after United snubbed a summer deal for Gakpo after opting to buy Antony for £85.5million.

    The Netherlands international said about his failed move to Old Trafford: “That was a tough period. I learned from that. I’m going to do it differently. What comes, that comes.

    “I thought about Manchester United, but when that didn’t happen, I couldn’t remember. And I started to doubt. Leeds United did come. Should I go there?

    “Now I wait for everything. I haven’t heard from Manchester United yet. When they come, I’ll think about it. I also seek the help of God in these decisions”

    Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has commented on Manchester United legend Cristiano Ronaldo currently being a free agent.

    Khelaifi appeared to rule out making a move for Ronaldo, who seems to be on his way to Al-Nassr.

    The PSG chief doesn't seem keen as he already has Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar.

    He said: "Cristiano Ronaldo at PSG?

    "With the three players we have [Messi, Neymar, Mbappe], it's very difficult, but I wish him the best. He is fantastic and he is still an extraordinary player”
