Taxi app giant are in talks with Spurs over naming rights for redeveloped 61,000-seater stadium
WHITE HART LANE could be renamed after Uber once the stadium’s £700m redevelopment is completed in 2018.

However, Uber face competition from a large number of potential partners in a deal Spurs hope will last for between six and fifteen years.
Leading contenders include the Qatar Investment Authority (QIA), the oil-rich country’s sovereign wealth fund.
QIA have bankrolled PSG to four straight French titles and and are looking to make their mark on a Premier League club ahead of the 2022 World Cup.
Spurs are also looking at other ways to raise revenue such as hosting NFL matches at the redeveloped stadium.
The ground has been designed with American football facilities and a retractable pitch with the club confident of hosting two NFL matches per year.
They also want to be the home of a London-based franchise if the NFL decide to launch a team in the UK.
Uber reportedly made losses of around £1bn in the first half of 2016, but the firm is still valued at £56.5bn.

Work on the stadium itself will cost between £400m and £450m with market-leading corporate hospitality and a massive single-tier stand to be constructed.
Around the ground, 585 new homes, a 180-bedroom hotel, offices, a health centre and a club museum will take the project’s total cost to £700m.
