Hull City news: Robert Snodgrass faces month out with hamstring injury and will miss Scotland’s clash with England

HULL CITY'S influential winger Robert Snodgrass has been ruled out for up to four weeks with ankle ligament damage - and will also miss Scotland's cruch clash with England at Wembley.
The 29-year-old suffered the injury during his side's latest defeat, a 2-0 Premier League loss to Stoke on Saturday.

Snodgrass - Hull's top scorer with four goals this season - could miss five games for the struggling Tigers, who have dropped into the relegation zone having lost their last five matches.
He left the KCOM Stadium in a protective boot and on crutches after Xherdan Shaqiri's double condemned Mike Phelan's charges to another loss.

And he has now worryingly added to the Tigers' lengthy injury list with a month out - a blow for club and country as Gordon Strachan's lowly Scotland travel to Wembley to face England on November 11 in a World Cup qualifier.
A statement from the club said: "Scans have confirmed that Robert Snodgrass sustained ankle ligament damage during Saturday's Premier League fixture against Stoke City.
"The Scottish international is expected to be ruled out for up to four weeks."
The injury will see Snodgrass miss Tuesday's EFL Cup tie at Bristol City, as well as up to four Premier League matches.
Snodgrass scored a hat-trick for Scotland in Malta as their Group F campaign began with a 5-1 win, but a 1-1 draw at home to Lithuania and 3-0 loss at Slovakia has dented their hopes of making it to Russia.
