Watch Bruno Fernandes’ icy reaction to Cristiano Ronaldo as duo link up with Portugal after bombshell Man Utd interview
BRUNO FERNANDES appeared to give Cristiano Ronaldo a frosty reception as the pair met up for Portugal duty following the Manchester United star's explosive interview with Piers Morgan.
Ronaldo, 37, launched a blistering attack on the club in a sit-down interview with the Morgan and made several allegations against the brass.
The interview dropped days before the United legend set off for a pre-World Cup training camp with Portgual.
And footage of his club team-mate Fernandes giving him a less than enthusiastic embrace in the changing room has gone viral.
Fernandes muttered a few words to Ronaldo and briefly shook his hand after walking into the dressing room.
The midfielder said a few more words to the Portugal skipper before going to speak to one of his team-mates off camera.

The apparently less-than-warm embrace didn't go unnoticed by footy fans, with one saying: "Nice and short from Bruno there... good work."
Another said: "Bruno looks so disappointed."
And another said: "I would pay to know what they said to one another."
One remarked: "This video is hilarious."

Another chimed in: "That look, damnn."
But Portugal star Joao Mario claimed it was all a joke.
He said: "I was in the dressing room at that moment. I’ve seen the footage.
“It was a joke between them because Bruno was one of the last to arrive and Cristiano asked him if he had come by boat.
“They’re always messing around.”
Manchester United chiefs are understood to be furious with Ronaldo's decision to go public with his gripes.
The brass met with manager Erik ten Hag - who was also targeted in the interview - on Monday to discuss potential punishments for the Portuguese.
A club statement read: "Manchester United notes the media coverage regarding an interview by Cristiano Ronaldo.
"The club will consider its response after the full facts have been established.
"Our focus remains on preparing for the second half of the season and continuing the momentum, belief and togetherness being built among the players, manager, staff, and fans."

SunSport understands Manchester United are prepared to rip up Ronaldo's contract.
If they do it will mean his tell-all interview with Morgan is the final nail in the coffin of his second stint at the Theatre of Dreams.
