The Belgium international is out of contract at the end of the season, although Brighton do have the option to extend his deal by a year.

Trossard has caught the eye with a string of outstanding recent displays.

He’s already scored seven Prem goals this term, just one fewer than his tally from the whole of 2021-2022.

Only Erling HaalandHarry Kane, Aleksandar Mitrovic, Ivan Toney and Miguel Almiron have found the net more.
