What Gerard Pique screamed at referee to get sent off in final Barcelona game – without even making it onto pitch
GERARD PIQUE was sent off in his last-ever Barcelona match after reportedly launching an expletive-filled tirade at the referee.
The defender announced his retirement from football last week.
And he bid an emotional farewell to the Nou Camp at the weekend after Barcelona's win over Almeria.
Pique, 35, was then named on the bench against Osasuna on Tuesday but still managed to receive his marching orders as he allowed his emotion to get the better of him once again.
Clearly unhappy at some of the decisions of referee Jesus Gil Manzano, according to , Pique said to him: "Did you see the corner you gave against us?
"You are the referee that has f***ed us over the most by a distance.

"It is a f***ing disgrace. "F*** your mother."
Mundo shared the referee's report detailing Pique's words on .
Pique, who was named among the substitutes, was furious with the ref's decision to send off Robert Lewandowski during the first half and had a heated conversation with him which continued into the tunnel.
He was then sent off for his remonstrating - denying him the chance to make his last ever Barcelona appearance.
Pique and Lewandowski are not the only Barca players to have felt Manzano's wrath.
Neymar, Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi were all sent off by the referee while playing for Barcelona.
Like Pique, Messi also seems to hold a grudge against Manzano and once refused to shake his hand at the end of a match.
