Inexperiened
Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou admits his side need more experience if they are to compete at Cahmpions League level.
The Aussie boss was left gutted as his side crashed out of Europe after failing to see off Shakhtar Donetsk at Parkhead.
And he admits that his players have been left disappointed, a signal of where his side want to acheive.
He said: "It was a big game for both clubs.
"We got in front and then we're pretty much in control and then we're caught on the counter.
"We had a chance with Kyogo that we missed, they've got a chance at the other end and they missed as well - it was a typical Champions league game.
"We're just disappointed we couldn't get the result we wanted.
"We need more experience at this level, we can't just come and play at this level and expect to get results.
"We're continually striving to improve and the boys are in there disappointed - that shows what we want to achieve."
Apology
Celtic star Matt O'Riley believes that if Celtic were playing domestic football they'd have won after passing up numerous guilt edged chances to see off Shakhtar Donetsk.
The Hoops crashed out of Europe after drawing 1-1 against the Ukrainian champions and O'Riley has apologised to fans for the lack of composure in front of goal.
He said: "We're realy disappointed, especially for our fans who turn up to every game with crazy amounts of support.
"It's missed chances that have killed us again, we'll try and be back next year with a better ruthlessness in front of goal.
"I had a great chance near the end, as did Giako.
"If that's in the Scottish league it's a goal, we need to make the step up in quality next time around."
Nightmare
John Hartson believes that Danilo Sikan won't sleep tonight after he passed up a guilt edged opportunity to win Shakhtar the game.
The substitute hilariously fluffed his lines from close range in a miss that will go down in the archives.
And the former Celtic striker believes that he was caught in two minds.
He said: "It's a horrible miss, he'll have no sleep tonight.
"His team have got a good result so that will soften the blow.
"He thinks it's a goal.
"He's caught in too minds because he's tried to control it and it's a heavy touch and it's just zipped away from him.
"He could've done it first time, but he's taken a first touch and it's poor."
Gutted
Giorgos Giakoumakis couldn't hold back his emotions as his first ever Champions League goal was in vein as Celtic crashed out of the Champions League.
The Greek striker was left gutted as he and his teammates were dumped out of Europe all together as Mykhaylo Mudryk's sensational equaliser ended hopes of Europa League qualification.
He said: "When we found out who we got in the group stages, we felt we could achieve more, by progressing to the next level.
"Unfortunately, we had some good performances but we couldn't combine them with results and get more points.
"That's why we didn't pass through.
"You cannot be happy, even when you score your first Champions League goal, something you dream of when you're a little boy.
"In the end we cant be happy as you want to succeed more.
"We should've celebrated today and we didn't once more.
"We gave everything, but we have to move forward and we keep moving."
