England captain Kane pushed for a move to Manchester City in 2021 before staying in North London side and appearing more happy to be there after Conte took over.

However, with Conte out of contract next summer and his future uncertain, Sherwood believes Tottenham may suffer a triple loss with Kane and Son following him out the door.

He told Sky Sports: "Let's face it, he (Conte) only has until the end of the season.

"I mean he's not signed a new contract. You are asking Harry Kane and Son to extend their contracts, why would you extend your contract?

"If you believe in this manager and if your manager is going to be there until the end of the season, you have to make a decision on him, very soon. There is speculation of him going back to Italy.

"He is lauded in Italy for the style of how he wants to play. This year he has to win, if he doesn't win this year, then he will leave."

Bayern Munich have a well-documented interest in Kane, while South Korean talisman Son has previously been monitored by the likes of Real Madrid.

After overseeing a remarkable turnaround last season which powered Spurs into the top four, Conte has just seen his side lose three of their last five league games.

Back-to-back defeats against Manchester United and Newcastle have left fans questioning the Italian's approach.

Some fans have even gone so far as labelling the ex-Chelsea boss as a "disgrace" while others have called for him to be sacked.
