Danny Rose is a major doubt for Tottenham Hotspur’s trip to Bournemouth
The Spurs full back picked up a foot injury during the Champions League draw at Bayer Leverkusen midweek and is now a doubt for league trip to Bournemouth.
TOTTENHAM have suffered a fresh injury blow with Danny Rose doubtful for their clash at Bournemouth on Saturday.
The left-back bruised his foot in the 0-0 draw at Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Rose left the BayArena wearing a protective boot and Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino said today: “He hurt himself kicking an opponent and he will be assessed tomorrow.”
Pochettino is already without injured duo Toby Alderweireld and Harry Kane.
Centre-back Alderweireld is set to return to action against Leicester next week after he was carried off on a stretcher at West Brom last week.
While Kane has returned to light training after being sidelined since damaging his ankle ligaments in the 1-0 win over Sunderland last month.
Pochettino said: “We are very happy with Harry, his recovery is going well. We’ll continue to assess him every day and see what happens.”
Tottenham hope Kane will return to action in next month’s North London derby at Arsenal.
