Rangers star Glen Kamara targeted by alleged ‘racist behaviour’ in Finland’s clash with Montenegro as UEFA launch probe
UEFA are investigating after Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara was allegedly the target of racist behaviour from an opposition player while playing for Finland.
The Light Blues star played the full 90 minutes as he helped his country to a 2-0 win over Montenegro as they brought their Nations League campaign to a close.
While it was a positive result for Finland, their victory has been overshadowed by the allegations of racism following the game.
The Finnish FA have confirmed European football's governing body UEFA are looking into 'suspicions of racism.'
It's claimed that the 26-year old was the subject of 'racist behaviour' towards him by a Montenegro player.
That player's identity has not been disclosed at this stage.
Other than announcing the UEFA investigation into the situation, further details have not been provided at this point.

They said: "UEFA has started an investigation into the racist behaviour of a Montenegrin player towards Glen Kamara.
"Finland won the UEFA Nations League match played in Podgorica with a score of 0-2.

Kamara was previously subjected to racist comments by Slavia Prague defender Ondrej Kudela during a Europa League match in March 2021.
A UEFA investigation found the Czech Republic centre back guilty of racist behaviour and he was hit with a 10-match ban.
