John Terry was an unused substitute in Chelsea's 3-0 demolition of champions Leicester City and he wants to prove he is fit and raring to lead his beloved Blues
JOHN TERRY takes to the ropes and press ups to ensure he is fighting fit for when he is back in action for Chelsea.
The 35 year old was left on the bench against Leicester City in Chelsea's 3-0 win over the champions on Saturday after returning from injury and the skipper is desperate to back in the thick of the action.
Terry took part in a number of drills that included a stepping ladder and one handed press up whilst rolling a ball underneath his body with his free hand.
Terry posted on his account: ''Morning session complete 20 hill sprints followed by another session with @bradleysimmonds @toniterry26 #nodaysoff.''
Chelsea will be pleased that their ageing captain is so determined to be in top condition for his club where he has lifted the title FOUR times for the South Londerners.
Many have called for Terry to be included in the England squad but its unlikely that the defender would want to risk any more injury by playing for the national side as Chelsea is now his sole focus.
