HAT ENOUGH?

‘It’s not healthy’ – Nick Kyrgios’ girlfriend Costeen Hatzi should ‘stand up and walk out’ over outburst, says ex-champ

NICK KYRGIOS' girlfriend Costeen Hatzi should be "standing up and walking out" on him at the US Open.

The 27-year-old Aussie tennis star ranted and spat at his team box during his second round win.

Kyrgios was playing Benjamin Bonzi at the Louis Armstrong Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.

And along with the abuse hurled at his team, the hot shot raged at the umpire claiming a fan was smoking marijuana in the stand.

Kyrgios blasted at his team during the third set: “Go home if you’re not going to f***king support me, bro.”

At one stage he also appeared to spit in the direction of the box.

Todd Woodbridge - a nine-time men's doubles winner at Wimbledon - reacted to Kyrgios’ behaviour during his win over the Frenchman.

Woodbridge highlighted his "unhelpful" stick towards 22-year-old Hatzi and his coaches.

The pundit said: "The behaviour [of Kyrgios] is just not helpful and it’s just not healthy.

"The people that are sitting in his player’s box have to take some action. That action should probably be standing up and walking out.

"They’ve got nothing to do with what goes on the court. It’s up to Nick to make the shots and hit the plays."

Kyrgios eventually went on to win the match in four sets and book his place in the third round.

After the match, in which he was issued a warning by the umpire, Kyrgios said it's been a "stressful time".

He performed similar antics earlier this summer when he blasted his box during his run to the Wimbledon final.

Last week, Hatzi dazzled in a bathroom selfie as she joined the bad boy in New York for the tournament.

And the pair remain inseparable, posing up the Empire State Building in the build up to Flushing Meadows.
