West Ham transfer target Aaron Wan-Bissaka AXED from Man Utd squad despite claims Ten Hag ‘rejected’ bid

ERIK TEN HAG has reportedly rejected a late West Ham bid for Aaron Wan-Bissaka - but the defender has been left out of Manchester United's squad to play Leicester.

The big-spending Hammers, who have forked out upwards of £100million this summer, are eager to bring in more defensive reinforcements before the window shuts.

, manager David Moyes has had a late inquiry over Wan-Bissaka knocked back by Manchester United.

They claim Ten Hag is a fan of the 24-year-old and wants to keep him as "back up" for Diogo Dalot.

Despite this, the Englishman was left out of the squad entirely for Thursday night's clash with Leicester.

It's unknown how much West Ham were reportedly willing to pay the Red Devils for the former England Under-21 international.

Wan-Bissaka was United's first-choice right-back for two seasons following his £50million arrival from Crystal Palace in the summer of 2019.

But he's yet to impress Ten Hag enough to be handed a starting berth this season, with his sole appearance lasting a meagre four minutes.

Ten Hag, however, is a self-professed fan of the wingback - who he insists will feature plenty this season.

The Dutchman said this week: "Aaron showed in the past that he is a constant factor at United. I have trust in him.

"I haven’t seen him that much because he was injured in pre-season.
