Sky showed a replay of the hard-nosed midfielder saying hello to numerous Old Trafford icons.

Carragher joked: "He's like the mayor of Manchester, shaking everyone's hand!"

While host David Jones claimed: "Roy Keane… this is your life."

Ronaldo jogged over to chat to Keane during warmups.

He gate crashed the pre-match coverage as his former team-mate asked the 37-year-old why he wasn't playing.

New boy Casemiro also made a beeline to hug the club legend Keane.

The pair appeared to speak briefly as they continued to exchange pleasantries with a smile, and presumably some well wishes.

And Stormzy had travelled to see Erik ten Hag's side bounce back on Monday night.

The rap icon from South London joked he was star-struck having been in the presence of Premier League legend Keane.

Stormzy beamed at the Irishman and said: "Sorry, I'm a bit flustered right now.

"Do you know what it is? I've never met these lot before, so we was walking past, we was a bit star-struck and someone gave me a mic and now I'm here!"

Amid fan protests over ownership, Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford struck to hand Ten Hag his first win of season and heap more misery on Jurgen Klopp's team.
