Tyson Fury’s former trainer SugarHill Steward sends Brit message after being replaced for Derek Chisora trilogy fight

TYSON FURY has been sarcastically wished well by his trainer Sugarhill Steward after announcing Isaac Lowe as his new coach.

Fury, who is notorious for trying to fool the public and press, claimed he was coming out of retirement to complete a trilogy with Derek Chisora.

And he even said featherweight Lowe, 28, would be his trainer for the unlikely bout.

After making the announcement, his current and possibly now former cornerman SugarHill commented: "Good luck with that."

The American mastermind, nephew to the great Emanuel, first linked up with Fury in 2020 before rematching Deontay Wilder.

Wilder, 36, was beaten in seven rounds and then knocked out after 11 in his October 2021 trilogy classic with Fury, 33.

The Gypsy King continued his success with SugarHill in April by knocking out Dillian Whyte, 34, at Wembley.

But he announced his retirement from boxing shortly after - although it appears to have lasted just four months.

Several believed Fury would return, but to fight the winner between Oleksandr Usyk, 35, and Anthony Joshua, 32, who rematch next Saturday.

But if the WBC champion is to be believed, his comeback will be against Chisora, 38, who he already beat in 2011 and 2014.

The fight is targeted for December in Wales, where Joshua has twice headlined, according to .

And it is claimed Goldstar Promotions - the company that handles Fury's meet-and-greets across the UK - are behind the offer.

That is despite Hall of Fame pair Frank Warren and Bob Arum leading the WBC champion's career in recent years.

Although Arum has spoken out to say he is not involved in the talks and poured cold water on the fight entirely.

He told  “Of course not. Nothing. What are we, crazy?

"Everybody is waiting for the fight to happen a week from Saturday and then we’ll explore whether it’s feasible to do a fight for the complete unification.

"He’s having fun, for Christ sake! Don’t take it seriously!"
