West Ham set to make improved Amadou Onana transfer bid after £25m offer rejected as Arsenal target Lille midfielder

WEST HAM are still reportedly keen on signing Lille midfielder Amadou Onana.

But the Hammers are facing competition from a number of Premier League rivals to secure his signature.

Ligue 1 outfit Lille are claimed to have rejected two offers from West Ham worth £19million and £25m.

The defensive midfielder joined Lille from Hamburg a year ago for £6m.

Onana - standing at 6ft 5in - made 42 appearances for Lille in all competitions during his first season in France.
