Man Utd star Eric Bailly set to snub reunion with Jose Mourinho at Roma in favour of Sevilla in transfer fund boost
ERIC BAILLY is set to snub a reunion with Jose Mourinho in favour of Sevilla.
SunSport understands the Manchester United defender is in talks with the LaLiga side over a move away from Old Trafford this summer.
Roma boss Mourinho – who signed the Ivory Coast centre back at United in 2016 – is also interested in bringing the player to Serie A.
AC Milan are keeping tabs on the situation as well, but it appears Bailly – whose current contract runs until 2024 – prefers Sevilla.
Bailly, 28, had initially told new United boss Erik ten Hag that he wanted to fight for a place in the starting XI, alongside Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof and Raphael Varane.
However, United are keen to offload players after a busy transfer window and rebuild.

The Red Devils have strengthened in Bailly's position with the £46m addition of Ajax defender Lisandro Martinez.
Having fallen down the pecking order further, Bailly is now open to a move if the right offer comes along, ending his six-year spell having made 113 appearances for the club.
Bailly’s time in Manchester has been hampered by injuries.
The defender has failed to make more than 20 Premier League appearances in a season after his debut campaign in 2016/17.
