‘It’s only just begun’ – Fans all say the same thing as Gabby Logan hails England Lionesses’ ‘game-changing’ Euros win

FANS hailed Gabby Logan's incredible closing speech after England's "game-changing" Euros win.

Logan fronted the BBC's coverage of the amazing tournament with pundits Alex Scott and Ian Wright, including yesterday's final at Wembley.

And after Chloe Kelly's dramatic winner in extra-time and the historic trophy celebrations, Logan rounded off the programme with a superb finale.

She thanked all the crew and team at the - both in front and behind the camera - for making the broadcasting such a success.

And then she passionately called on the British public to step up and continue to grow women's football after England brought football home.

Logan, 49, said: "Is this a game-changing moment?

"Well, the record audiences on TV and crowds in the stadiums have been fantastic, brilliant.

"But to really move the sport on, we need you.

"If you've enjoyed it, get yourself along to a WSL game this season, even if you only go to one or two.

"The Lionesses have brought football home, now it's down to the rest of us to make sure it stays here.

"You think it's all over? It's only just begun."

And the replies were flooded with messages of enthusiastic support.

England cricketer Tammy Beaumont said: "Getting goosebumps at this message! Well said @GabbyLogan."

Another wrote: "What a sign off by Gabby Logan. Different gravy."

A third replied: "So well said - we will def attend the games next season - pls keep pushing that message.

"My little footballer doesn’t face the same barriers I did to kick a ball - it’s simply fabulous - had the best night ever!"

Wembley broke into utter bedlam when Kelly poked home with ten minutes to go.

And her sky-high reputation soared even further when she ditched her post-match interview to join in singing Sweet Caroline.

Then the Lionesses squad gatecrashed manager Sarina Wiegman's press conference, bursting in belting out It's Coming Home and dancing on the table in jubilant scenes - as millions celebrated across the country.
