‘I’ve seen some diabolical things but this takes the cake’ – ‘Hot dog’ served at football match leaves fans outraged
GERMAN minnows Vfl Osnabruck have sent social media into meltdown over food served at their stadium.
Their catering has left fans outraged as they were left in shock by the size of the bun for the bratwurst sausage.
An image shared by Instagram account shows a sad-looking 'hot dog' drenched in too much ketchup and mayonnaise.
And to make matters worse, the bite-sized bun is laughably too short to contain the sausage.
Posting an image of the hot dog inside the Bremer Brecke stadium, it was stated that it cost £3.76.
The caption read: "€4.50 [£3.76] - Bread with Bratwurst at the Bremer Brucke in Osnabruck."

Fans were quick to express their disgust at the food, as one user quipped: "Thought that was raw bacon for a second."
Another said: "Nah I’ve seen some diabolical things on this account put this actually takes the cake as the worst thing on this account.
"Did the boss man get hungry and scran the bun or something?"
A third added: "I don't like the way the mayos been put."

Meanwhile one simply stated: "Got to be illegal."
This supporter then remarked: "The Bratwurst is not that bad but the beer there is absolutely disgusting."
One thing is for certain, Vfl Osnabruck do not join the likes of Hull, Dulwich Hamlet, Weymouth and Boreham Wood as boasting the best stadium grub.
Instead they join Stevenage, Barnsley, Doncaster and Peterborough as football grounds to avoid eating at.
