Historic WrestleMania 40 to be held at 65,500 all-seated Lincoln Field in Philadelphia over action-packed two nights
WWE have announced that WrestleMania 40 is going to take place in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 2024.
The wrestling giants confirmed that the Lincoln Financial Field, which holds over 65,500 spectators, will host WrestleMania in a two-night event on April 6 and 7 in two years time.
"In addition to WrestleMania, other events will include Friday Night SmackDown, the 2024 WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony and Monday Night Raw at Wells Fargo Center as well as other fan events at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
"In addition, WWE will also host multiple community outreach events, including hospital visits and Be a STAR bullying prevention rallies, designed to give back to the local region."
WWE have embarked on a new era after pro wrestling supremo Vince McMahon retired as the company's Chairman, CEO and head of creative after 40 years in charge.

McMahon stepped down after accusations of sexual misconduct and reports he allegedly paid several women millions in hush money between 2006 and 2022.
The American businessman's daughter Stephanie has succeeded him as chairwoman as well as co-CEO and will be in charge along with co-CEO Nick Khan.
The 76-year-old's son-in-law and wrestling legend Triple H has replaced him as head of creative.
And thus Stephanie, Triple H and Khan will be putting together the next two WrestleManias.

Next year's Mania takes place on April 1 and 2 at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, California before they take to the City of Brotherly Love in 2024.
WWE Executive Vice President of Special Events John Saboor said: "On behalf of WWE, we are thrilled to bring WrestleMania back to the City of Brotherly Love.
