Vinicius Jr signs bumper new Real Madrid deal ‘with €1BN release clause as Eder Militao & Rodrygo also extend contracts’
VINICIUS JUNIOR has reportedly followed Eder Militao and Rodrygo by signing a bumper new contract - with another mammoth release clause.
The Brazilian winger, 22, was rewarded for another fine season at Real Madrid and is now one of their key stars.
His previous contract was due to expire in 2024, potentially causing issues next summer as he entered the final year.
But according to , his new deal runs until June 2027.
And the release clause inserted is a staggering €1billion - or £850million.
That is the same figure as compatriot Rodrygo and double fellow Brazil ace Militao's.

Official announcements for all three are expected imminently.
Vinicius joined Los Blancos from Flamengo in a £38m deal five years ago.
After finding his feet, the wide man racked up 22 goals and 20 assists last term including the winner against Liverpool as Real secured an emphatic LaLiga and Champions League double.
It was reported earlier in July Vinicius would pen the new deal once he returned for pre-season training.

His wages are expected to increase three-fold from £53,000 per week to a whopping £166,000.
Speaking a few weeks ago, Vinicius could not contain his excitement at building on his success at the Bernabeu.
He told SporTV: "I will continue in the biggest club in the world.
"This is just the beginning. I have many things to conquer. I hope to have many trophies at the end of my career.
"It's normal with age [to gradually develop]. I skipped many steps in training. I became a professional when I was 16 years old and still not fully formed.
"Real represented a huge amount of pressure, but I had the help of Karim Benzema, Marcelo and Casemiro, who are very experienced players."
