Bayern Munich agree £68million fee for Matthijs de Ligt with Germans set to beat Chelsea to transfer for Juventus star
CHELSEA look set to miss out on signing Matthijs de Ligt after Bayern Munich agreed a fee with Juventus for the star.
The defender, 22, has been one of the Premier League side’s top targets as they look to bolster their backline following the exits of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen.
The Blues have already wrapped up a deal to sign Kalidou Koulibaly but want De Ligt to join him at the back.
However, they now look set to miss out on the Dutch international.
Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich have agreed a £68million fee with Juventus for De Ligt.
Now the player is due to undergo a medical before finalising a move to Germany.
