During his five-set first-round win over Brit Paul Jubb, Kyrgios admitted to spitting in the direction of a fan who was getting under his skin.

Kyrgios was overheard swearing at his box, including girlfriend Costeen Hatzi and sister Halimah, after dropping the second set.

The controversial Canberra ace roared: "Do you f***ing care at all?

The outburst was picked up on the BBC broadcast and was overheard by the Royal Box including the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and heir to the throne Prince George.

Kyrgios was later heard mumbling "it's a f***ing joke" after he was seemingly distracted on his first serve, before going on to double-fault.

The Aussie had demanded a second crack at his first serve, but had his request denied.

He also ranted to the umpire about a heckling fan who had "700 drinks".

The supporter in question later hit back saying she was trying to give him her backing... and had only had one Pimm's and one glass of rosé.

Kyrgios had got off to the perfect start in his first-ever Grand Slam final.

He charged to the first set 6-4 as he looked to deny Djokovic his fourth-straight Wimbledon crown.
