Man Utd enquire over Leandro Paredes transfer but £30m asking price from PSG ‘putting boss Erik ten Hag off’
MANCHESTER UNITED have made an enquiry about Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Leandro Paredes, according to reports.
French outlet claim talks are ongoing but PSG's £30million asking price has complicated negotiations.
Erik ten Hag is supposedly put off by the fee and could therefore turn his attention to other targets.
Paredes, 28, has played for the Ligue 1 champions since 2019 helping them clinch three league titles having previously played for Zenit Saint Petersburg and Roma.
He has featured 113 times for the Parisians but started just 15 games last season.
The Argentine defensive midfielder is comfortable in possession but rarely chips in with goals having scored on just three occasions for the club.

He could be one of a number of players to leave PSG this summer following the sacking of Mauricio Pochettino.
A move back to Italy could be on the cards for Paredes with Juventus reportedly monitoring him too.
As for Man Utd, they are already heavily linked with Barcelona's Frenkie de Jong as Ten Hag looks to re-build the United squad and specifically the midfield.
A deal for Christian Eriksen is also expected to be completed but the new manager reportedly wants to bolster the central area further having lost Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic and Jesse Lingard on free transfers.

Ten Hag is reportedly growing frustrated at the lack of transfer activity so far - the club have signed just one player, Tyrell Malacia.
And they could need plenty more with especially with Cristiano Ronaldo's future unclear.
If Paredes does make the move to Old Trafford then he could be joined by Argentina teammate Lisandro Martinez with United supposedly interested.
