Son is not expected to receive any official plaudits for his most recent stunner but he still managed to go viral.
The forward reportedly turned up for an amateur match along with some other team-mates from South Korea's national team before linking up with Spurs for pre-season in his homeland this weekend.
The difference in class was there for everyone to see as the 30-year-old absolutely dominated on the pitch.
But the South Korean hero's brightest moment occurred when he casually picked the ball up in his own half.
Son looked up and saw the opposing goalkeeper off his line and fired home with ease.
