Karius made a string of high-profile blunders at the Reds, including two howlers in the 2018 Champions League final defeat against Real Madrid - his last-ever game for the club.

The ex-Manchester City stopper struggled on a two-year loan to Besiktas and then at Union Berlin in 2020-21.

Karius trained with Liverpool last season but Jurgen Klopp admitted he was FIFTH-choice behind Alisson, Caoimhin Kelleher, Adrian and Marcelo Pitaluga.

After just 29 Premier League appearances in six years, the German goalkeeper is now desperately seeking a new club, revealing he's "physically and mentally ready".
