CELTIC fans have been hailed for creating the best chant on the planet.

And it's probably not for the song you're expecting.

It's not the first time the Hoops fans have been considered among the best in the world.

Many claim Celtic Park has the best atmosphere in Europe and on Champions League nights in particular.

And not only are they considered the top dogs in terms of atmosphere, they now also have the catchiest song according to Spanish outlet 90min en Español.

The Hoops are known for several anthems including their rendition of 'You'll Never Walk Alone' and the Lisbon Lion song which commemorates the famous 1967 European Cup winning side.

But it's 'You Just Can't Get Enough' that has been tipped as the best football chant out there.

It beats the likes of 'Seven Nation Army' by Club Brugge fans, River Plate fans' 'Llega el domingo voy a ver al Campeón' and Real Madrid fans' 'Hala Madrid... y nada más'.

And Liverpool's version of 'You'll Never Walk Alone' came up short and finished second to the Depeche Mode song.

The report from Spain said: "In 90min we have decided that the first place goes to the fans of Celtic from Scotland, who show that their fans are not just a few hundred but the whole stadium who start a real party in the stands every time 'I Just Can't Get Enough' is blasted out.

"Everyone sings, everyone dances, everyone applauds, but no one stands still."

The song was created by the Green Brigade back in 2010 and it caught on as a fan favourite over the years.

But in recent seasons it's played second fiddle to some of the newer chants and isn't heard nearly as much when it was originally introduced.

That hasn't stopped it from gaining the highest award for football chants though as it's still fondly remembered across the globe.
