Man Utd ‘make £38.4m Antony transfer bid as Erik ten Hag looks to raid old club Ajax for Brazilian winger’
MANCHESTER UNITED have submitted a £38.4million bid for Ajax winger Antony, according to reports.
New Man Utd manager Erik ten Hag worked with him in Holland and wants the Brazilian to follow him to Old Trafford.
The 22-year-old enjoyed a fantastic season helping the Amsterdam based side win the Eredivisie title.
He netted 12 times and registered ten assists in 33 matches in all competitions last season.
The winger's solid form led to him receiving a call-up to the Brazil national side, he has since earned nine caps.

What the rumoured signing of Antony will mean for the future of other wide players like Jadon Sancho, Marcus Rashford and Anthony Elanga is unclear with competition for places high.
Ten Hag could be reuniting with not just Antony but Barcelona's former Ajax midfielder Frenkie de Jong too.
Utd are keen on De Jong, 25, but the Dutchman needed convincing before he would commit to a club that is not in the Champions League.
De Jong, 25, had initially been sceptical about joining United when he emerged as a top target for new boss Ten Hag.
It has been reported that Barca could demand a huge £80million fee for his services.
