Man City star James McAtee set for Huddersfield season-long loan transfer talks after England Under-21 duty
MANCHESTER CITY midfielder James McAtee could be cleared to speak to Huddersfield after England Under-21 duty.
Carlos Corberan has been in contact with Etihad chiefs about a season-long loan for the 19-year-old.
Championship play-off finalists Huddersfield are edging ahead of Swansea in the chase for McAtee.
The Terriers’ boss may meet for a chat after the Young Lions’ Euro qualifier against Slovenia tomorrow.
McAtee is a product of the Manchester City academy, and featured six times in total for the senior side over the course of the recent season.
The midfielder also netted an impressive 17 goals in 22 Premier League 2 games for the U23s side.

Elsewhere City could also loan goalkeeper James Trafford, 19, back to Bolton for a second spell.
Trafford played 33 times while on loan at the League One outfit last season.
Meanwhile at Huddersfield, SunSport exclusively revealed yesterday the Terriers are set to snap up Halifax Town defender Jesse Debrah, before sending the 22-year-old out on loan next season.
And Town are also in advanced talks over a deal for another non-league star - Solihull Moors striker Kyle Hudlin.

The 6ft9 striker - who is the tallest outfield player in the UK - is close to a move to the John Smith's.
Hudlin is set to jump up three divisions to join the club, after scoring in Moors' National League play-off final defeat to Grimsby last week.
