KEVIN MAGNUSSEN escaped serious injury as his Formula One car turned into a blazing fireball.
The Renault driver leapt out of his car as it burst into flames in the pitlane just minutes into the first practice sessions.

Stewards and mechanics hosed the machine with fire-extinguishers as fuel began leaking out of the top of the motor.
Practice was stopped as the Danish driver's car was dealt with in the sweltering 34 degree heat at the Sepang circuit in south east Asia.
