Chelsea’s Kounde transfer boost as Barcelona PULL OUT, Rabiot and Militao LATEST, Richarlison ‘£50m bid prepared’

CHELSEA look set to rival Manchester United for Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot, according to reports.

Elsewhere, the Blues have been handed a mega boost in their pursuit of Jules Kounde, with Barcelona said to have pulled out of the race to sign the Frenchman.

The Catalans are said to be unable to afford Sevilla's £65m asking price, particularly as they are looking to sign two-time Fifa Best Award winner Robert Lewandowski.

And Chelsea are reportedly willing to make a £50million bid for Everton forward Richarlison.

    Armando Broja is the preferred target for West Ham hero Anton Ferdinand.

    163 appearance-maker Ferdinand exclusively told SunSport in April: "I'd like us to go and get Broja, who's at Southampton on loan from Chelsea.

    "He's exciting. He can finish. He's a powerful young man.

    "Not the same but similar to Antonio in terms of his presence and strength.

    "He's willing to run and occupy two centre-backs and for me personally, he's somebody that West Ham should look to go and get."

    Speaking to ESPN via Sempre Inter, he said: “I told the coach and the management [last summer]: ‘I want to change now’. So they told me: ‘Stay this year, help us. Next year, you can take the next step’.

    “The fans already know that I have this desire to play in the Champions League, to go there to earn a call-up to the Brazilian national team. I need to play at a much better level, so I think it’s a matter of time.”

    The 25-year-old added: “I’m analysing some proposals but I think that next season I will no longer play for Torino.”

    Romelu Lukaku's return to Inter Milan on loan is being held up by the Italian club's president.

    Chelsea are keen to sort Lukaku's situation after the club record signing struggled to produce results.
