Football fans all saying the same thing after Shakira confirms Gerard Pique split after he was ‘caught cheating’
GERARD PIQUE has been slammed by football fans following his split with Shakira amid allegations he cheated on the pop star.
Rumours of the Barcelona star cheating on Shakira emerged earlier this week with the singer confirming the split on Saturday.
But the Colombian made no mention of the reason behind the fallout, and instead asked for privacy for her children.
Despite that, football fans on social media have been busy lamenting Pique for supposedly cheating on the mother of his two children.
Many believe the Spaniard is foolish to have thrown away his relationship given Shakira's stardom and beauty.
One fan wrote: "Pique is insane for cheating on Shakira like how stupid do you have to be to cheat on her."

And a third said: ";Pique is out of his mind cheating on Shakira."
Ex-pornstar Mia Khalifa commented on the uproar, tweeting: "Shakira following Henry Cavill and Chris Evans in this past 48 hour time span is peak feminism. Pique feminism."
Shakira announced the break-up via her publicist and she expressed her regret over the situation - making no reference to the alleged cheating.
