West Ham players grab 7am McDonalds brekkie after champagne fuelled bender after thrashing

WEST Ham United’s flops went on a champagne-fuelled “team bonding” session the day after their latest defeat — with at least three players staying out past 7am.
Injured Andy Carroll and Aaron Cresswell were seen in McDonald’s the morning after enjoying a meal with teammates and a night clubbing following the 3-0 home defeat to Southampton.
Slaven Bilic’s men have lost five of their six Premier League games in a nightmare start to their first season in the Olympic Stadium.
Up to 16 players including French ace Dimitri Payet and captain Mark Noble ran up a huge bill at Signor Sassi restaurant in Knightsbridge, West London, on Monday.
They then tossed their credit cards into a hat and roared with laughter as Noble’s was pulled out, meaning he had to pay for them all.
A day earlier, Noble had branded his team a “laughing stock” following their latest loss.
Hammers fans, usually known for chanting I’m Forever Blowing Bubbles, had sung: “You’re not fit to wear the shirt.”
Winston Reid, Adrian, Alvaro Arbeloa, Manuel Lanzini and James Collins were among those seen leaving the restaurant.
As some stars hid their faces, Welsh international Collins, 33, said: “The lads are worried they’re going to get slaughtered in the press.
“We’re out for a team bonding night. It’s just a quiet dinner. We’re all going home after this.”
But several players, including England striker Carroll, 27, partied on at the Cirque le Soir club in the West End where tables cost a minimum of £1,000.
Insiders said their bill at the celebrity haunt included ten bottles of £340 Dom Perignon champagne and 100 shots of liquor.
Carroll and reserve goalie Darren Randolph, 29, were then seen at 6am in the Market Porter pub in Southwark, South London.
The pub has a special morning licence.
An onlooker said: “Visitors at 6am are quite rare and it was something of a surprise that two West Ham footballers were among them.”
A brickie snapped Carroll and Cresswell in McDonald’s.
He said: “I couldn’t believe my eyes. These guys are professional athletes, yet they’re queuing up for a McDonald’s in their clubbing gear at 6.45am.”
