Aston Villa planning late swoop for free agent Boubacar Kamara, 22, who has been linked with Man Utd and Newcastle
ASTON VILLA are planning a late move to snatch Marseille free agent Boubacar Kamara on a bumper deal.
Villa chief Steve Gerrard is still looking for extra cover in midfield.
And the highly-fancied Frenchman is the next big name in his sights.
Kamara, 22, has been linked with several Premier League clubs.
Manchester United have reportedly been keen on the France Under-21 ace.
And big-spending Newcastle have also been rumoured to be watching him.

Some clubs have backed off over his wage demands.
But Villa are interested in sealing the deal.
The club will look to move out some of their squad to make space both in the dressing room but also on the payroll.
Kamara has come through the youth ranks at Marseille and made his senior debut in December 2016.

He has gone on to make 114 appearances in Ligue 1 for the club in total.
During that period he helped Marseille to reach the 2018 Europa League Final.
Now he is set for a new start with his contract due to expire in June.
